Are my credit card details secure with Art of Giving online gallery?
Yes, absolutely they are very secure. Once you decide to purchase, you are directed to a secure server to complete your card details, you are then returned to our website where the transaction is completed. No card details are kept by the Art of Giving website.
Which methods of payment are accepted?
We accept most cards including Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch. We also accept personal cheques.
I want to pay by cheque, but how would I do this?
Simply send a cheque for the corresponding amount, made payable to Art of Giving (UK) Ltd, along with your contact details including name, address, home and mobile phone number. Once the cheque has cleared we will arrange delivery to the address you have requested with your order.
How quickly will I receive my purchase?
If it is a UK delivery and in stock, assuming payment is cleared, you should receive your order within 3-5 working days – although it is possible that if the order is placed before 2 pm on day of purchase (excluding weekends), that you may receive delivery the next working day. For same day delivery please ring 0845 224 1884 for price.
If you are ordering art that is not held as standard stock, and is ordered or commissioned for you, this may take a few weeks, an approximate timescale will be confirmed to you upon placing the order.
What if I want something different to what is on the website?
We can absolutely contact any one of the artists exhibiting on the Art of Giving site, along with others, to discuss commissions and art tailored to your needs. Please contact us for details.
Where are you able to deliver art to?
We can ship to almost any address in the world. Please note, however, there are restrictions on some products which cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
What do I do if I want to return my order?
In the unlikely event that the art does not meet your needs, please notify us within 3 days of delivery. You may return most unopened items in its original packaging covering return costs and insurance, in undamaged condition within 14 days of receipt, and once the items have been checked and determined to be in their original and re-sellable condition, a full refund of the purchase price on receipt of the item. We will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item) – please refer to ‘Damages’ section below.
If a buyer refuses to take delivery of the artwork for any reason other than evident damage, then expenses incurred by the seller for delivery and return of the item will be deducted from any refund.
Full refunds or exchanges will be made for any artwork damaged during transit. To qualify please keep all packaging and artwork as delivered and notify us within 24 hours of receipt.
If there is any excessive damage to the packaging on arrival the buyer must refuse to accept the item.
If the item appears undamaged and the buyer accepts delivery of the item before removing the packaging, the buyer must sign the delivery documents accompanied by the words "unchecked".
If, after unwrapping, damage is discovered, the buyer must notify the seller within 24 hours of receipt (or first thing Monday if a weekend delivery) of any damage to the item.
The buyer must send damaged items back to the seller using the sellers approved courier, details will be given on request, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The buyer must include the original packaging materials with the artwork when returning any damaged goods
Refund will be subject to satisfying the seller's insurers that any claim is genuine.
